Steel Sheet Gantry

Our client, a Steel Stud Manufacturer, was looking for an automated system to move heavy steel sheets between manufacturing processes, while maintaining a compact footprint.

The system we designed, built and commissioned uses a large vacuum head to pick the sheets and transport them up to 30 feet. 

​

The system uses two safety scanners to watch for operators and ensure safe transportation of the sheets.
