Nuclear Cage Welder

Framatome – an international leader in nuclear reactor design and manufacturing, was looking for a robotic solution to consistently weld nuclear cages within a very tight tolerance for use in nuclear fission reactors.

 

We designed and built a custom robotic system that increased their throughput and quality for their proprietary products, with the ability to produce multiple cage geometries.
